A moving column. Originally at Sydney’s main
post office, it was moved in 1863, 1937 and 1988. Until
it next packs its bags, you can see it in Elizabeth
Plaza, at the foot of Denison Street, North Sydney.

In St Leonards Park, North Sydney, we came
up with a brilliant idea: place the lights down the
centre of the paths. Now we can sit back, relax and
watch on CCTV as the cyclists and pedestrians crash
into them.

Remember the old days when fun for kids meant billy-carts,

From Upper Minimbah Road, Northbridge, you
can watch the action on Sailors Bay's four-lane highway.

Fading sunlight plays games with the supports
of the bridge to Cammeray. With a toll for pedestrians of
threepence return, it opened for business in 1892, 22 years
before Alan did. It's still known as the "Suspension Bridge"
even though the cables were retired in the 1930s.

Norwest
It's a strange and rather unimaginative name for a suburb, but you can guess in what area of Sydney it is.
