Silverwater’s Blaxland Common has
a steep hill that’s easy to climb, thanks to a
spiral footpath. The spiral path is protected by a one-metre
thick rock wall. A sample section suggests that it contains
upwards of a million rocks.

Silverwater
Released into Newington Road to work on the footpaths of Silverwater in the winter cold?
No thanks. I'd rather my cell.
Silverwater
This Silverwater corner store is on the corner (that figures) of
Asquith Street and Skarratt Street North. Such small businesses are rarely seen in Sydney suburbs now,
but Silverwater has stacks. They're open from 5am and all are closed by 3pm.

Silverwater
Silverwater has three distinctive features:
factories (the most dominant), the jail (not far behind) and
the walk beside the Parramatta River.
South Wentworthville
Bates Street, South Wentworthville:

South Wentworthville
South Wentworthville has Sydney’s
longest suburb name—19 letters. Try writing or
typing it a few times; the rest of us should be grateful
that we have a shorter suburb name.
Does your city have any longer suburb names?
