Photos - Surprises - Signs (continued)

Miranda

miranda-sign-nose-parking-usg.jpg

Sorry, officer, I didn't know the meaning of 'nose' in Clubb Lane, Miranda.

Moore Park

If you’re a police officer, your horse can go from South Dowling Street, Moore Park, into Charles Street - but can you?.

Moorebank

Even we could work that out about Anzac Road, Moorebank, without help.

Moorebank

Stockton Avenue, Moorebank, shows how to attract attention with minimum cost.

Mortlake

Find this house in the formerly McDonald Street, Mortlake.

Mosman

So I go to the corner of Military and Belmont Roads, Mosman. But what if I miss the 8.32am bus to the city?
Don’t worry. We operate a 20-second service during peak times.

Mount Colah

At Mount Colah, either someone has been creative with a paintbrush and grey paint, or the sign is getting old.
(See next photo for the standard colour scheme)

The usual colour scheme at Mount Colah.

Naremburn

This photo of a sign on the corner of Flat Rock Drive and Grafton Avenue, Naremburn, was taken in July. We are all grateful for the opportunity to plan ahead. (That's assuming they’re not six months late.)

Naremburn

This tiny grassy stretch is beside West Street, Naremburn. Before the sign went up, it would have been interesting if the car drivers, golfers, dog-walkers, motor-cyclists, pilots, shooters, riders and arsonists all turned up at the same time!

Naremburn

Like neighbouring Willoughby, Naremburn has imaginative names for its narrow streets.
