Abbotsford
Abbotsford's Quarantine Reserve in Spring
Street is named after the former animal quarantine station;
some of its stables survive.
Abbotsford
From Abbotsford's most northerly point
jutting into the Parramatta River, you can walk west
then follow the Hen and Chicken Bay shoreline (with
the occasional help of streets) through Wareemba and
into Five Dock. Carry some bread or biscuits if you'd
like to feed the hungry local gulls, seen here as we
cross a beach section near Mayne Lane.

A seagull does a perfect two-point landing on Alan's fingers on the Hen and Chicken Foreshore Walk at the northern end of Wymston Parade, Abbotsford.

What drought? Alan concludes that this
house’s tank in Wilson Road, Acacia Gardens, holds
sufficient water.

Arndell Park
Arndell Park is an industrial suburb boasting
ten metre walls like these in Holbeche Road.
You might like to buy a couple for your house.
Bankstown
Airport
Marion Street, Bankstown Airport, shows a different type of
parking area.

These days we don't sit for hours admiring
the view from our windows in Stotts Avenue, Bardwell
Park.

And we thought we’d found the secret
to fitness by walking the streets. We take our hats
off to the residents of this house in Darley Road, Bardwell
Park, who climb more than 100 steps from the road to
their front door. |
Bardwell Valley
Pindari Place, Bardwell Valley, is well-sheltered
from westerly winds. We hope it is also well-sheltered
from earthquakes
Belfield
Can you come up with any concrete ideas for spectator
seating at Jim Begnall Field, Belfield?
